KNIGHT’S ARMOR: From start to finish,
A Knight’s Armor publishes a faith-based magazine
twice a year. Help with organizing volunteers, publicizing
on campus, and providing submissions for each edition.
BREMWOOD: Help support the religious education program on Wednesday
nights at Bremwood Children’s Home in Waverly.
CATHOLIC
KNIGHTS: This group is designed especially for
Catholic students, but open to all. Provide Mass once a
month on campus, discussion groups, and fellowship.
FAITH
ALIVE: Faith Alive members help connect students with youth to nurture faith
and provide outreach ministry to
individual congregations, groups within congregations, and conference
or ecumenical events. Faith Alive small group meetings consist
of a Bible study/devotional and an activity for group members to draw
closer together as a Christian community. Small groups may also plan for
an upcoming outing or youth lock-in.
FELLOWSHIP
OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES (FCA): Experience Christian
fellowship in weekly recreational activities, Bible study
and support. The group aims to present athletes, coaches and all whom they influence the challenge and adventure of
receiving the Gospel.
GOSPEL
CHOIR: Praise God through gospel music, fellowship,
and faith sharing.
HABITAT
FOR HUMANITY: Put your faith to work helping
to build houses for people who otherwise might never own
one. The group has three main functions: educating the
campus and local community about affordable housing issues and the work
of Habitat for Humanity, building and rehabilitating houses in partnership
with Habitat for Humanity affiliates and homeowners, and raising funds
for the work of Habitat for Humanity. This group is one of the largest faith expression groups on campus.
MANNA: Help advocate for the needs of hungry people and educate
about hunger work locally and around the world.
PSALM 149 - This liturgical dance group dances at worship services and leads dance workshops for students and adults.
WARTBURG FRIENDS OF SABEEL is a group of Christians working ecumenically to promote justice, non-violence, and peace throughout the Middle East. It focuses on the Israel-Palestine Conflict and is part of a larger organization called Friends of Sabeel North America which is part of Friends of Sabeel International. They are concerned with human rights and are working to educate people on the situation in Israel-Palestine as well as working for peace in the area. |
